TEDxMidAtlantic events are produced entirely by volunteers. No one is paid, including speakers, but we do incur significant expenses from our vendors. From theater rental to A/V professionals, materials costs, travel expenses, and even payment processing fees, running large-scale events like these requires a significant budget.

All of our funding comes from a combination of our event partners, ticket sales, and the support of patrons like you.
